CALLING ALL BUSINESSES IN THE MULLINGAR AREA!
Is Your Business Spending Too Much Money on Energy?
If the answer to this question is ‘Yes’, then you should come along to the Annebrook House Hotel on 11th November 2021 from 7pm to 8:30pm for an information and consultation evening on what practical steps you can take to significantly reduce your energy costs.
There will be energy and financial experts on hand to talk to you about how your business can save money against a backdrop of rising energy costs and how you can access grants and funding to help you do so.
Organised by the Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community (SEC), with the support of the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce, this information evening is aimed at local businesses, particularly business owners, financial managers, cost controllers, facilities managers, and anyone who wants to be spending less on energy than they are now.
Speaking in the run-up to the event, Dr. Isabella Donnelly, Senior Energy and Environmental Engineer at SEAI and a member of the Mullingar Sustainable Energy Committee said: “It is a fact that most businesses are spending more than they need to on their energy costs but when it comes to reducing these costs, many don’t know where to start. It is also surprising how many businesses don’t know exactly what parts of their business are using the most energy, and what can’t be measured, can’t be managed”.
Dr. Donnelly added: “With energy costs only set to rise in the foreseeable future, this issue is now more urgent than ever for local businesses. The Mullingar Sustainable Energy Committee has pulled together an impressive line-up of experts who will share their knowledge and insights on what businesses can do to significantly reduce their energy bills in addition to making a contribution towards a low carbon future”.
If you’re interested in receiving some one-to-one advice about your business on the night, then bring along your CRO Number, TAX ID and Electricity Bill MPRN to see where you could be making savings.
