The Launch event for our Energy Master Plan (EMP)is almost upon us!
Authored by PlanEnergy & Sponsored by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), this document and the accompanying Register of Opportunities will become part of the toolkit for our activities as an SEC in the years to come. Among other things, it contains information about Mullingars mix of energy sources and housing stock, grants available for retrofitting various types of premises, and potential opportunities to reduce the towns emissions.
We’ve joined forces with Irish Manufacturing Research to bring a Community aspect to their Sustainable Energy Day event, as mentioned elsewhere on this site, in their premises on the 28th of June. This event is free and open to the public; due to the nature of the site, pre-registration is required but it’s pretty simple – you can find the link here.
We’d love to talk to you about the EMP, the Register of Opportunities, the SEC itself, or any retrofitting projects you might be trying to get off the ground, and there will be providers of everything from Solar PV panels to the latest Electric Vehicles there on the day, so please pop in for a visit.
