Hot on the heels of our nomination for the 2023 SEAI Energy Awards the Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community has been nominated for the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce Awards 2023, set to take place at the Mullingar Park Hotel Mullingar on Friday, November 3rd. This event promises an evening of celebration and recognition, where local businesses, community leaders, and distinguished guests will gather at a Gala dinner. The category we’ve been shortlisted for is “Excellence in Sustainability & Climate Action [Sponsored by ORS]”

We’re delighted as the nomination helps to raise our profile and get the word out about our goals. We’re up against some very strong contenders, including our very own Thomas Flynn, the Refill Mill and the hardworking Mullingar Tidy Towns. Whether we win or not, the fact that there is a category to recoginse the work of all that strive to make the town a better place.

Some of our hard-working team! L-R: Paddy Mathews, Tony Palmer, Hazel Smyth (Chair of Mullingar SEC) Isabella Donnelly, Anna Browne, Thomas Flynn, Helen Donnelly, Brian Browne
